Shaping a Community

Review the Project and collaborate with your suggestions or edits in the comments area.

If you have any suggestions or edits, or see content that may be inaccurate, please submit it below in the comments area. If you have stories and photos, send us an email or drop hard-copies off at the Chamber. Be sure to include your name with “Attention Ucahoot.” All materials will be returned.

The Living Legacy project is about people and events that shaped the local communities from the early 1800s to present day.

Content for this book is coming from people like you who share an interest in the Excelsior area. Please add what you can: stories you’ve heard—funny happenings or tragedies, business and individual successes and failures, facts you know, photos you have or even videos. Whatever it is about the area, old or current, send it with your name and contact information and we’ll make sure it gets in the printed and/or digital version with your name in the credits.

Enjoy following the progress and look for regular updates. We appreciate your involvement—let others know, too—we want to give everyone time to contribute before the book is published latter part of 2014.

The Ucahoot Team.

Nancy and I have photos of excelsior, olds dry goods, minnetonka country club, jim, roger and Betty and family. More and stories. Would love to talk about what else you want. The Arey family was very important also. I will contact Stuart Arey.
